In the heart of Córdoba, the Club Campestre Cordobés buzzed with the G1 Tennis Tournament of the Mexican Tennis Federation (FMT), an event that not only brought together rising junior tennis stars but also highlighted the commitment of CAFIVER, official sponsor, to promoting sports.

Patricio Álvarez, who represents Veracruz, is a 13-year-old tennis player who has climbed rapidly on the Mexican junior circuit. His performance at the Córdoba G1 was monumental.
- Previous achievements: Patricio is a gold medalist at the 2025 CONADE National Olympiad and recently took the double crown (singles and doubles) at the Kirmayr Juniors Cup (Grade 3) in Serra Negra, Brazil.
- Impact at the tournament: At the Córdoba G1, Patricio did not just compete; he rose as the undisputed champion of the under-14 category, winning both the singles and the doubles title. This local triumph is a sign of his impressive trajectory and of his ability to perform at the highest levels of Mexican junior tennis.
Patricio represents that generation of tennis players who combine natural talent with dedication, and his double victory at this event is a reminder of why Mexican tennis is on the rise.

Another name that shone at the tournament was Matías González, age 12, son of the experienced professional tennis player Santiago González. Santiago is a pillar of tennis in Veracruz and Mexico, with an outstanding career on the ATP circuit, where he has won 25 doubles titles and reached number 7 in the world rankings in 2023.
CAFIVER's Role: More Than a Sponsor, a Champion of Youth Sports
CAFIVER, as official sponsor, took the tournament to the next level.
A Fun Fact from Coffee Experts: Just as the best coffee beans require a meticulous process of selection and roasting to reach their full potential, young tennis players need the same attention and care to develop their talent. CAFIVER's commitment to sports reflects its passion for excellence, both on the court and in the cup.
- Event Legacy: The Córdoba G1, held September 15–20, closed with an emotional ceremony and left a lasting impact on the tennis community.
Events like this one at the Club Campestre Cordobés show that Mexican tennis is beating strong thanks to talents like Patricio Álvarez, who is already a reality, and young prospects like Matías González, who draws inspiration from his family legacy.
